About Us

Osteo Support is an orthotic and prosthetic base center established to provide rehabilitation services with Orthosis (braces, splints) and prostheses (artificial limbs). It was established in 1997 by Orthotist and Prosthetist Mr. Jebindra Singh. It has a group of well-trained technicians.

Osteo support is the Clinical base orthotic and prosthetic rehabilitation center.

Objectives:

• Identify the persons who require prosthetics and orthotics services.
• Make people aware and educate them about orthotic and prosthetic treatment.
• Provide optimum orthotic and prosthetic services to Nepali people at an affordable price.
• Co-ordinate with the remaining rehabilitation team to help physically disabled people.
• Encourage disabled patients to carry out needed exercise.
• Assist in reducing the further impact of impairments through good hygiene, wound treatment, prevention of secondary complications like contracture and bedsores, etc.

Main services

• Clinical examination of a patient having physical weakness, physical deformity, or physical disability due to amputation of either upper or lower limb.
• Prescription of an ideal appliance according to pathology on a biomechanics base.
• Fabrication of orthotic and prosthetic appliances according to prescription.
• First trial fitting of the appliance, followed by delivery of the appliance.
• Follow up with the patient.
• Orthotic and prosthetic health education.
• Production of prefabricated soft orthosis at a reasonable price.
